Long time ago, my girlfriends & i wiuld go out clubbing. This one place, in a wealthy community, would turn on the lights at 2 a.m. I was surprised at what people would leave behind. Jewelry, designer perfume & make-up.
Theft by finding, is an offence in the uk should hand it in to the police or keep it in an office for a reasonable amount of time then if the owner doesn’t claim it you are allowed to have it

Back in the early 70’s I was an Asher at the McVicker’s theater in Chicago which my High School principal found jobs for seniors it was a XXX movies anyway’s we would pick up the popcorn buckets clean them out good with a warm cloth and have the girls at the concession stand resell them $8.00 back then and we would split it.
