I cant believe allison she is evil
She could have said that he wasn’t perfect and struggled with addiction rather than the details. I’m not mad at her because I’m not in that position and no one in this world is perfect even people that are larger than life. Let’s spend our time being kind to each other
Even if she is trying to raise awareness and destigmatise it, could she not have waited until theirs kids were adults and could process this information themselves BEFORE revealing it to the world.
Imagine how they might find out about such sad things now? Imagine finding out about the trauma that caused your dad to take his own life through an internet blog or kids on the playground…
Her story is hers to tell even if others don’t want to hear it or like what’s being said.
What’s this Alison’s agenda? Does she realize she has kids with this man and is leaving a print for them about their father? What is your problem woman? 5 minutes of fame? Is it hard to protect your late husband’s memory. Woman, we are happy with the image of your husband before his death, you do not have to tarnish that? It is very stupid what you are doing..

I can see why Allison is doing what she's doing. She is trying to turn the extreme tragedy of his passing into something positive by talking about the kind of ab_se he sufferred, and giving people an understanding of how dangerous it is not to talk about your pain. Choosing to struggle alone may very well not be safe depending on what it is, and staying quiet about it can cost you your life. Thats the only possible reason there is. This isn't "dirty laundry" – he didn't do anything wrong here – it's not a "dirty secret" at all! It's a painful secret he kept when if he'd chosen to share it with his wife, and get the help he needed, he very well may still be alive today.
