I’ve seen other directors try to do things like this and the problem is they draw to much attention to them. Nobody says a word about the rope burns in the movie but they are prominently shown. Same with the briefcase. Where as other directors have someone say something or point it out

Hes such a good director/ writer that in such elaborate and epic films, those small plot points aren't important to the grand scheme of things but are still intriguing to the daydreaming mind or off time away from the film.
