She never had the voice. Sorry to say, she seemed like a nice young lady. But she never had a chance between Britney and Christina. Even her sister Ashley was better imo!
Britney and Xtina was the main girls back then and anyone to come after did ok, but not as great. Britney was the 1st obviously but Xtina took it to another level being a strong vocalist while also giving choreo. Jessica tried but it looked forced. Jessica could have just been a "songbird" only and been alright. But back then they was WORKING the girls! Literally 😢

She is so talented. Glad she's making music again.
I mean since mmc days she was scared to sing after Christina then Christina came with 3 #1 hits and then went on to win best new artist at the Grammys Christina set the standard high for the girls!
Now, all of them are completely forgotten. Britney just went nuts. Christina is still there, but with so much less influence, Jessica is just out of the spotlight, Mandy Moore has found a new sound (but a much smaller niche)
And Shakira was always the bigger artist because Shakira is WORLDWIDE

she never find her own way. is hard to add jessica in best pop artists. they all were completely different. she tried dance like britney and sing like christina but unfortunately she didn't make it. 🙄😶
Jessica's empire is richer than all of them so she actually won in the end.
She was great on Newlyweds on MTV just being a Ditzy Blonde but she never really had any real Talent to be a Pop Star except that she was really Hot and she just tried to do a Cheaper Version of what Britney and XTina did and they gave her Weak Producers and Writers so she never had any Big Hits but she had a couple of Videos on TRL just because she was really Hot. The Biggest she ever got was on Newlyweds with Nick and now she makes money with her Clothing Line.
Jessica tried to do Country for a little while but the Country people turned on her because they thought that she was Fake Country and they were right about that because she just tried to Copy it like she did with Britney and XTina and not do her own Version of Country like Beyonce did. I think that maybe now she is actually trying to Work with real Writers and Producers because Jessica knows that she will never be a Big Star anymore at her age now and she is just doing this more for Fun and to prove to herself and all her Haters that she can do something where she is just not copying more successful people who are doing it better than she is.
I feel like she wasn't properly managed…
I love Jessica ❤ She definitely made her own mark on the music scene, and during a time when there were so many rising stars like Britney and Christina Aguilera
