    1. If conditions were so atrocious why didn’t Tom take mom to court and get kids out of there? At that point, her illness could have been dealt with and the kids safe.

    2. I think that Hanks first 2 children would have been better off living with him. The kids must have told him about their treatment by their mother. To leave the kids with someone who is mentally ill is pretty terrible. I'm glad they've both got through it.

    3. I think all of us with a mentally ill parent could write a book about our crazy childhood. It’s frustrating to know ours wouldn’t make it in the press or E magazine. Yet, because she’s got a Hollywood daddy, she sells books. 😮 , Thanks to God I’m a better parent than my parents. Yet, I could use a few hundred thousand from book sales.

    4. Sounds like bipolar disorder, I knew somebody with bipolar they like to just get in their car and drive on crazy road trips, feel so sorry for his daughter. Where was Tom Hanks her father when all this craziness was going on?

    5. There was a moment where she also said Tom hanks tried to pick his kids up from school which was when he found out that she had moved them to Sacramento without warning and never told Tom about the ordeal, but they conveniently left that part out.

    6. My grandma was bipolar! Not diagnosed! And it runs on her side of the family. My brother had it. So does one of my 3rd cousins.

My point is. We all got problems in are family. Health and what not.

    7. Can't believe anyone was ever married to him- not desirable, not marriage material etc 👎 only another shakedown artist would gravitate to him etc 👎

    8. So, are we wondering why Tom didn't step in earlier to help out his daughter or get her out of the situation? Why does Colin seem so unaffected byt the mother/wife #1?

    9. Nobody will ever know the dynamics of the relationships with the whole family, you can only guess. However, although Tom Hanks is a good actor, there is something about him that sets off bad vibes for me. I am not usually wrong. Hopefully, I am in this case.

    10. This really has nothing to do with her father. Her mother was mentally ill, but she’s deceased now, so this can only reflect on him and it’s not his fault. I’m wondering if she should have done this.

    11. As most of Hollywood elite Hanks tried cultivate the image of a kind man, while being one of the most horrible persons you can imagine, his children messed lives is just one of the many red flags surrounding this guy.
