    Sadie Sink Defends Millie Bobby Brown🚨 #shorts #sadiesink #milliebobbybrown

Sadie Sink is speaking out in support of her Stranger Things costar following Millie Bobby Brown’s viral video slamming media criticism and body shaming.

In March, Millie posted an Instagram video calling out the surge of articles scrutinizing her appearance.

The video took the Internet by storm, drawing widespread praise and even public apologies from media personalities who had targeted her.

Now, in a new interview with Teen Vogue, Sadie reflected on Millie’s powerful message and shared her own experience of growing up in the spotlight.

“I had a little bit of a different experience, but I can relate to everything she said,” Sadie said.

“As women and just as human beings, we naturally grow up and find ourselves. Doing that in the public eye, under scrutiny, definitely is this added pressure that men do not receive.”

“Especially, like Millie was saying, someone who’s been known as a child on TV and then is coming into adulthood. It’s not necessarily the kindest place to do that in this industry, and to do it so publicly.” she continued.

Sadie, who made her Stranger Things debut in 2017 as Max Mayfield, also opened up about fame, boundaries, and personal growth.

“When I was younger I felt like I had to say yes to everyone. You can say no, and that’s fine. And I’m not being rude. …. But there’s still always that little voice, like, oh my God, I’m so rude.”

Like Millie, Sadie has faced the challenges of growing up in the public eye.
“There was definitely a shift in mentality when you start being perceived as a woman.” she said.

“There’s just this whole other part of feminism and womanhood that becomes clearer the older you get. You have to start looking out for yourself and defending yourself…. As I was turning 18, 19, I don’t want to say it took a darker turn, but it kind of became scarier.”

    1. Remember that horrible count down when the Olsen twins would become "legal"?? That's the shit girls have to deal with while growing into an adult in the industry.

    2. I mean, if you’re a public figure and you get work done/change your appearance, people will talk about it and judge it. It comes with being an actor/in the public eye. I’m sure it’s really hard to go for adolescents to adulthood as a celebrity, but being in the public eye means people will see you and comment on what they see.
