feels like a pass for me unless I hear some good word of mouth from people whose taste I trust 🤔 This might work for me in previous years, but 2025 isn’t the vibe for it.

    2. I feel like “untitled rachel sennott project” sounded better. Kinda how High School Musical was just a placeholder title but eventually they gave up on choosing a better title

I’ll check it out because I love Josh Hutcherson. However, as a whole, I get annoyed by shows about LA. They always scream ‘Transplant in heavily gentrified area trying to figure out life’ which is fine, but, I think “Love” already did that.

(I’m also an LA native and people always stereotype/group us as a monolith)

      Edited for spelling

I’m a bit sick of shows about LA/showbiz but I love Rachel Sennott so will be sat against my will

I’ve often described the industry/influencer transplant community as a collective of the most annoying people I’ve ever come across, and this seems like it will be a fun show for them.

    6. Sounds very generic. Rachel Sennott is a great talent but this sounds quite bland and generic HBO-comedy with raunchy nudity and too much swearing.

    7. Well, she wrote Bottoms, one of the funniest movies of all time, so I’ll at least give the pilot a try.

    8. Kinda don’t need another rich, white, skinny, cis ppl show —especially in somewhere as diverse as LA

    9. Damn. TV is finally giving us a story we’ve never gotten to hear. Wannabe entertainers in LA? Did they get Phillip K. Dick, Isaac Asimov, and Jules Verne together to come up with a premise that unique and original????

I’m being facetious, really. I like Sennott and I think her performance in Bodies, Bodies, Bodies is one of the top comedic performances of the decade.

But this does feel like a network approached a star and said “We’ll make whatever idea you have!” and the star just didn’t really have anything.

Perhaps they could have hooked her up with a writer to create something actually new?

Honestly I feel so over the same groups of actor/influencers who are all friends IRL just bringing the exact same dynamic to the screen, and basically just playing caricatures of themselves – like idk it just feels like they’re putting on a play for each or something! Like a bit of a circle jerk vibe 🙃 Not sure how much broad appeal this will have tbh

This looks like a show about the worst kind of people in LA….but i dont think it’s satire…

    12. Bottoms was one of my favorite movies of the year when it came out but I find her whole thing kind of tiring. Don’t know why. I just feel tired when I see her
