Kate Middleton is renowned for her designer preferences, with recent favourite labels for official engagements ranging from Alexander McQueen to Alessandra Rich. However, she does occasionally incorporate high street brands into her wardrobe, with Boden being a long-time favourite.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been re-wearing pieces from the affordable brand since 2018, when she donned a bright red Boden coat for a hospital visit. Last week, she once again relied on this trusted brand during her visit to Marina Mill. Choosing to wear Boden’s Eva Cashmere T-shirt layered under a Bella Freud check blazer, Kate seamlessly blended designer and high street for a stylish outcome.

Kate’s T-shirt is black, which currently isn’t available on the brand’s website, but plenty of sizes are available in a similar charcoal shade. You can also choose from neutral, pink or purple– all still in stock. You can find more of our fashion recommendations here.

The Eva Cashmere T-shirt updates a classic shape with the added softness of pure cashmere. In the charcoal shade, it offers a classic, neutral look that works across seasons.

The relaxed fit falls neatly between the waist and hip, providing an easy-to-wear silhouette. Equally suited to tailoring or denim, it layers easily and feels comfortable worn alone.

Cosy and versatile, the T-shirt is a piece that effortlessly integrates into a wardrobe and will last you season after season.

Although it’s priced at £129, which may seem steep for a T-shirt, pure cashmere does carry such a price tag, even from more affordable brands. If you’re browsing, The White Company offers a similar tee to Kate’s for £120 in a stunning deep wine shade, while M&S has an alpaca blend knit tee for a more budget-friendly £46 in a charcoal colour.

In other news related to Kate, she recently attended a rugby match looking as elegant as ever. While her outfit was undoubtedly on point, it was her jewellery that truly stood out.

Tucked under her sleek hair were a pair of Cartier’s renowned Trinity earrings, which retail for £1,630 at Harrods.

However, achieving the Royal look doesn’t require a Royal budget. High street favourite H.Samuel offers a pair of hoops that bear a striking resemblance, and they’ll only set you back £169. Crafted from 9ct gold, the earrings feature the same trio of tones – yellow, white and rose – twisted together in a way that immediately brings to mind Kate’s luxury pair.
