When it comes to shoes, U.S. First Lady Melania Trump is consistent about what she likes. The former model has stuck to a handful of footwear designers throughout her time at the White House, and Roger Vivier has been at the top of her list.
On Friday, Trump met with Kate Middleton for a visit to the members of the Scouts’ Squirrels program in the grounds of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, England, during the State visit with her husband, U.S. President Donald Trump. For the visit, she popped on a pair of her go-to ballet flats by the French luxury footwear designer.

She opted for the Roger Vivier Trompette Quadrata leather ballet flats, which retail for $485. The shoes are made in Italy from smooth leather. The Trompette Quadrata ballet flats are a signature style for the brand.
They feature a classic shape that’s embellished with Vivier’s signature angular metal buckle at the vamp. The sleek flats featured a square toe at the tip. The tan hue she opted for paired well with her neutral ensemble.

She paired the ballet flats with a Bryn Belted Lamb-Suede Jacket from the Ralph Lauren Collection. She wore the jacket in a chestnut brown hue that matched the shoes. The jacket featured box-pleated patch pockets, shoulder epaulets, and a waist-clinching buckled belt and landed right at her hip. She paired the jacket with beige, pleated trousers with an ankle-length hem.
Melania Trump has been consistent in her choice of shoe designers whenever she makes a public appearance. The Roger Vivier Trompette and Gommettine Ballerinas are a staple in her wardrobe, while Christian Louboutin‘s popular So Kate pumps and Manolo Blahnik’s BB pumps are her preferred choice when she’s looking for a boost in height with high heels.
