The Friends of Marion DD Levy Committee is hosting a Celebrity Kickball game at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities’ Bigford Field.

The event features 14 local celebrities who have been competing for the Ultimate Celebrity title through various fundraising activities, according to a community announcement. Points are awarded for donation collections, creative nicknames, best uniform on game night, most social media hype and largest/loudest fan base.

The celebrity with the most points at the end of the night will receive a celebrity trophy and bragging rights. The game is a fun way to support the Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities and the Levy Committee.

The 2025 Celebrity Kickball Class includes Alex “Kickin’ It” Sheridan, Allen “Kickin’ It Downtown” Wilson, Chris “Kick Flair” Massey, Cory “Justice with Grace” Rogers, “Dynamite” Dane Williams, Eli “Hope Kicks” Bush, Emily “The Gem” Haas, Erin “Raise the Barbell” Slater, Gary “I’d Rather Be Reading” Branson, Jordan “Poison Ivy” Belton, Leslie “Kicks for Kids” Schneider, Liz “the Legend” Taylor, Marcela “Empanada Mama” Barrios and Todd “Toddzilla” Schneider.

The community is invited to attend, with celebrities paired with Special Olympic athletes to round out the teams. Free hot dogs and chips will be served.
