Close friend stands by Meghan Markle after ex-best friend’s statement
Kelly McKee Zajfen is giving fans a glimpse into the deep and unshakable friendship she shares with Meghan Markle.
On September 28, during an Instagram Stories Q&A the Alliance of Moms co-founder didn’t hold back when she opened up about her bond with the 44-year-old Duchess of Sussex.
Her response was filled with admiration, as she called the former actress one of her favourite people and accounts to follow.
She went on to write a heartfelt message, which read, “I’ve actually known her for almost 20 years? She even came to my wedding (15 years ago!), and she’s been the most amazing, nurturing, fun, loving human.”
Continuing, “She’s been by my side, especially since Georgie died, and I cherish our friendship very much.”
In 2022, McKee Zajfen and her husband, Julian faced a tragedy when their nine year old son passed away from COVID and viral meningitis.
Meghan has stood by her friend in many ways over the years, including when she and Prince Harry contributed $5,000 to a GoFundMe honoring George, made in their children Archie and Lilibet’s names.
However, this support comes a few days after the Suits alum’s former best friend Jessica Mulroney’s recent statement.
The 45-year-old Canadian fashion stylist and marketing consultant has made it clear that she won’t be writing a tell-all memoir that would give an inside look on her friendship with the Duchess of Sussex.
According to Daily Mail, an insider claimed that Meghan “would be worried” if her former friend decided to go down the route of writing an autobiography.
