Katie Price has undergone a dramatic transformation — so much so that people have mistaken her for Meghan Markle. The 47-year-old appeared on stage earlier this week to perform at An Evening with Katie Price and Kerry Katona as she showed off her vocal chords by singing We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off.
While the audience were very impressed with Katie’s singing, people on X were otherwise distracted as they noticed that Katie looked a little familiar.
One user wrote: “Hey, I thought it was Markle for a minute there! Taken up singing,” alongside laughing emojis.
Another said: “She stole M’s hair style. LOL.” A third added: “Thought it was Meghan for a split second!!” Others simply stated they couldn’t even recognise Katie, with one writing: “Sheeesh, I didn’t even recognise her. She got some work done.”
Katie has been getting a lot of attention due to her recent transformation, most notably relating to her dramatic weight loss. The mother-of-five recently opened up on it and slammed fans for their influx of comments.
She said: “It’s driving me mad. Yes I’ve lost weight. Yes that’s what I’ve wanted to do, I’ve wanted to lose weight.”
Katie explained that when she broke her foot and was in a wheelchair she put on weight, then she was doing IVF which also made her put on weight. She added: “So yeah, I did put on weight and I hated it. I felt uncomfortable and it wasn’t me.”
It was explained that after she opted to stop the IVF her system had started to go back to normal and she was able to be active again and eat healthy.
She hit back at the influx of comments and said: “Everyone is talking about it — it’s driving me mad. I’m healthy and I do eat.”
Over the years, she’s also had a transformation in her appearance outside of weight loss, which has been highly documented, but the star has continued in doing so. Katie has openly discussed her breast enhancement surgeries, rhinoplasties, veneers, eye lifts, lip fillers and BBL.
But despite the surgery, she has still said that people need to be educated on it beforehand, saying on the How To Fail with Elizabeth Day podcast: “So I would love to educate people about it. It’s damaging to your body. I’ve had so many anaesthetics. I know I still choose to do it, but I’m older now.”
