Meghan also sweetly revealed that Lilibet, who is now aged four, was sporting her gloves.
Speaking of the shortening of her name to ‘Lili’, one expert shared the likely reason that Harry and Meghan often refer to her as Lili rather than Lilibet.
Royal expert Christine Ross suggested that it could be down to Meghan and Harry’s wishes to give their children as normal of a childhood as possible.
Ms Ross previously told the Express: “There is certainly a trend in baby names of giving family names, but shortening the name to give the new baby their own identity.
“Lili is a much more common name than Lilibet, and lends to Meghan and Harry’s desire for their children to have as normal a childhood as possible.”
Meghan shared a picture and a video of her daughter over the weekend to mark ‘International Day of the Girl’.
Her captioned read: “To all the girls – this world is yours. Do everything you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other.
“We will do the same for you. It’s your right and our responsibility. Go get ‘em girl! [running-girl emoji] Happy International Day of the Girl.”
