The Supreme Court has allowed the Trump administration to block transgender and non-binary people from choosing passport sex markers that align with their gender identity.

    1. Republicans show a slight bit of compassion for people in 2025 challenge part 725299: still impossible

It makes no difference to extend a small kindness to people, how are you God’s chosen and choose to be this way huh

      Oh, that’s me… I can’t change my passport now

The one time I actually have time and money to do it and they fucking ban me. Awesome. Can’t wait to have that on my passport for the rest of my life (or until this is overturned). I’m gonna have so much fun getting patted down at TSA every time I want to fly somewhere.

Every time you think this administration couldn’t be eviler, they do eviler things. Like how hard is it to just leave people alone and mind your own business.

While this is disappointing, the ACLU’s lawsuit against the administration and the discriminatory passport policy is still active. Keep speaking up & don’t lose hope.

“In a brief, unsigned order, the court said the policy doesn’t appear to discriminate against transgender people. “Displaying passport holders’ sex at birth no more offends equal protection principles than displaying their country of birth,” it said. “In both cases, the Government is merely attesting to a historical fact without subjecting anyone to differential treatment.””

That’s the shittiest, lamest reason I’ve ever heard. Here’s why: you do not need to include your BIRTH name on there. If you legally change your name and surname after marriage or a legal name change, you use your NEW name. So if you don’t have to display your name AT BIRTH, why the F do you need to display your SEX at birth? Make it make sense.

    6. This administration’s entire platform is just to be as pointlessly cruel as possible to as many people as possible

I used to be against the idea of “packing the court” as a matter of principle.

That’s dead now. If we ever have another situation where the Democrats control the white house and majority of Congress, they better expand the court to 27 justices and get packing right away.

Bro I literally just got out of my psych appointment where I told her I was trans. Her response was to tell me to take antidepressants and go to therapy and now I come out to this shit. Lovely fucking day

    9. Okay so what the heck does this mean?? I have an X on my passport, do I need to change it as soon as possible? Someone help, this is super vague, trying to keep calm but idk what to do with this

    10. Isnt this information on the passport to help ID people? If a trans female is marked male, how does that help a country know who is entering the country? Is it to cause confusion at the gate and get people denied or questioned since their may appear to be a mistake in the passport?

    11. You’re telling me that the Robert’s Supreme Court specifically chose cases to further the objectives of Project 2025?! /s

    12. His entire second term seems to just be a war on transgender people and undocumented immigrants.

I can’t believe people voted for this dumb shit.
