Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS Now Worth $5 Billion | E! News

Kim Kardashian is doing more than amazing. The reality stars clothing company Skiims raised $225 million in new financing, now valuing the brand at $5 billion. With Kim sharing in a statement, “Today’s announcement validates the hard work of our incredible team and partners who have helped us reach this exciting new chapter, becoming a global omni channel retail brand. Skiims, which currently has 18 locations nationally, in addition to its online store, plans to use some of those funds to expand internationally. The round was led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, the investing arm of the banking company, which previously invested in the Kardashian Stars venture in 2023. In fact, the brand earned $270 million two years ago, valuing the company at $4 billion. Back in 2020, Kim shed light into the inspel behind her successful brand, sharing how all she wanted was quote comfort and glamour, telling Harper’s Bizaarre, “I’m very minimal but practical. When I said I wanted seamless shapewear, everyone looked and thought I was crazy. The thing that always bothered me with other brands was that there would be a seam up the front.” She continued, “You would have this really tight dress and then this seam, defeating the purpose of wearing something that is supposed to look like there is nothing underneath. I’m all about comfort and glamour at the same time. I always think you can do it all, so why not have everything you need as far as your products? [Music]
