Prince William Details “Difficult” Aspect of Parenting | E! News

Prince William opened up about the emotional challenges of fatherhood in a rare and vulnerable new interview. Appearing on the Feb. 18 episode of BBC Radio 1’s Life Hacks for a special panel on male suicide and mental health, the Prince of Wales reflected on his own experiences, admitting that he is “not immune to bad days.” A longtime advocate for ending the stigma around mental health, William explained that he often takes time to understand his own emotions, saying, “I take a long time trying to understand my emotions and why I feel like I do… To check in with yourself and work out why you’re feeling like you do. Sometimes there is an obvious explanation, sometimes there isn’t.” The prince also shared a sweet glimpse into life with his three children, noting that they talk about their feelings “sometimes too much,” joking that he gets every detail — and loves it. But William admitted that one of the hardest parts of parenting is the instinct to want to fix everything, even when he can’t. “You feel a sense that you need to fix it for everyone and that I find quite difficult,” he said. “You don’t need to fix everything — you just need to listen.” Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/videos/2487882819749/prince-william-details-the-one-aspect-of-parenting-he-finds-quite-difficult

  1. Palace sees the writing on the wall, the Monarchy is in severe crisis. The old guard is holding on to tradition of "Our Betters" on the Throne, but, in 10 years most of the 65+ subjects will no longer be around. The younger British desire, need and are due a decent standard of living not looking at a very unsavoury Windsor family and elite and Epstein exposed establishment. William is on a love bombing campaign seeking validation and empathy from taxpayers. It is widely estimated the Monarchy is in it's final term. Protecting, financing and securing Paedophilia has destroyed public affection and respect for the Windsors.

  2. All of us, no matter race, religion, economic status-whatever the case- are all dealing with some form of hardship. The most important thing to know is that those times always pass, and if you have the love and support of family and friends around you it makes those hard times a little easier to overcome. I appreciate how genuine and open William is being. Only this week I was feeling down myself, but it does help to know we all go through these times and we will make it through.
