From her wikipedia page, I wonder how many similar stories there are, people who are in denial of what they experienced or feel they can’t speak or don’t want the public drama, so they pretend it doesn’t exist
There was a video/post by her last year around the time when Blake Likely came forward with the sexual harassment. She spoke in support for BL about her own difficult experiences with producers that treated her very poorly. She mentioned there are still a lot of predators in the film industry. If my memory serves me correctly, she mentioned she suffered a miscarriage on set and was basically told keep working. Unfortunately, she deleted the video a couple of hours posting. I like Michael Sheen as an actor, but I am really disappointed to find out he treated her so poorly. I hope she gets the support and help that she needs.
I am so sickened that she went through all of this, and also I think it’s really brave and honourable of her to share it in the hopes that it could help young women recognize that they are in the same type of situation.
I don’t get this man. I worked with financial education in the UK and he did incredible work, getting so many people out of debt. But then go and be a total cheating, abusive a-hole to your own wife, even during labor? Yikes.

She’s always talked about how they are such close friends, so this feels out of the blue. (I’ve always noticed that because it’s really hard to be close friends with your former spouse and I was always impressed they seemed to manage.)

I think this post would’ve been much more effective and impactful to young women if she included what she said in her comment as part of her post :
“Being a single mother with an amazing support group of family and brothers and male cousins and friends is way better than spending time with a narcissistic father who will not only abandon your child but abuse you… Way better to have a community than one single narcissist fucking everything up.”

When the emotional abuse is coming from someone who outwardly looks and acts like a nice guy, a lot of times you do keep it in and struggle to believe it yourself. And yes it can be embarrassing. I’m sure he was threatened by her. She wasn’t just a pretty face, she was very talented and had success.
I have been this young woman, and what I wouldn’t give to have had a person in my life tell me this.
