As the search for 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie continues, Savannah Guthrie’s Today family confirmed she’s returning to work after a two-month absence. “She is coming back to this job that she loves here at ‘Today’,” Hoda Kotb announced on March 27 alongside Jenna Bush Hager, Dylan Dreyer, Craig Melvin and Al Roker. “We’re glad to say she will start here—sitting next to this wonderful human being Craig—Monday, April 6.” Since Feb. 6, Hoda—who left the morning show in January 2025—returned to fill in for Savannah as the latter stayed back in Arizona amid the ongoing investigation into her mom’s abduction.
