27 years is hard to believe but it definitely holds up.
What a film.
This was one of the better teen movies – ever.

I still missed heath ledger

One of my all time fave comfort movies – it’s perfection. (I’ll ignore the “27 years ago” personal attack for now)
Still the best Shakespeare adaptation.
I love the absurdity of *’American* *high school security must stop untoward displays of affection’.*
This film was my absolute favorite as well as my (bi)sexual awakening (paint ball scene, both of them) 🫶🏻

I got to introduce my husband to this movie just last month and my GOD it still holds tf up.
Filmed at Stadium High School. That school is so gorgeous I was jealous that I didn’t live in the district to go there
