Is it crazy to think that losing in California was part of the plan? They had nothing to move forward with. The California metoo law is for employees who have less power and her PGA showed the judge Blake was more powerful like a contractor so much so she didn't even need to sign an employee contract to exert such power. It's not a geographic issue like they're trying to minimize as.

Let everyone be reminded that this is the same Michael Gottlieb who went on a Victory tour last June 2025 on CNN, TMZ and made it look like a Jury made a verdict when Justin’s case against Blake was dismissed (but In reality it was also due to “Technicality”). Gottlieb and Blake are fuming because it seems like they have personal vendetta against Freedman.
Now here he is again, posting non sense, changing the goal post (again), now it’s all about retaliation. Give us an effing break 😂😂😂. Back in January 2026, his equally despicable colleague – Sigrid Mcawley told the world, in front of New York court that this case is about sexual harassment, now because 10 or 13 claims were dismissed, all of a sudden it’s about retaliation? 😂😂😂😂 Gottlieb also lost his case for Drake that’s why he’s fuming…he cannot take another lost with his celebrity client as his reputation is on the line 😂😂😂

I’m sorry but I needed to comment again. 😁 I believe she was setting him up from the very start by making comments that would prompt Justin to say certain things that she could use against him to take over HIS movie. She knows there was no SH or anything else she is claiming that she believes happened. What did happen is she didn’t get away with none of her devious tactics to gain total control and claim something that was never hers! Those who are backing her and Ryan deserve everything they got coming to them. If a movie comes out following this entire sheshow of a case I will def go watch it as long as the Renolds are not producing the movie….. 😂

If Wayfarer was a fledgling company, it would have been crushed from existence with no hope of ever rebuilding. Gottlieb says that the Court "held" Ms Lively provided sufficient evidence and the wording in point 3 is interesting "Baldoni … understood that her claims amounted to sexual harassment … " – adding the word "allegations" seems to have been an afterthought. None of her claims satisfied the elements of sexual harassment to "amount". The judge didn't need to go through the elements – she failed on being an independent contractor and also where it was applicable to an independent contractor, that failed because the alleged conduct occurred in New Jersey – not California. That was based on applying the facts to the law – not a technicality like filing out of time. You are right in saying that Gottlieb should have known she was an independent contractor but pushed it as her being an employee. On his firm's website, he doesn't list the Lively as one of his "selected significant matters" even though this case eclipses his other cases in public attention and cost
