I love hearing about other women supporting each other. More of this please and thank you!

That kind of support matters a lot more than people realize. Glad she had real ones around her when the internet was being ugly.

Genuinely a group of golden hearted women is the best community to have. All of these gals are beautiful, talented and speak out against injustice in the face of pushback.

Halle Bailey and Rachel Zegler are amazing and deserve their own original princess movies where weird grown adults won’t obsess over their casting

Honestly I’m thankful that I’m not famous. Even beautiful and talented people are going through hell. My sensitive ass would not survive social media backlash. (I would very much like to be rich in anonymity, though.)

  6. It is sad that racist dudes who have never even seen the original movie have an opinion on a fictional mermaid’s skin-tone in a new movie that they will also not watch.

It ironically highlights how diverse casting decisions really are necessary to change how we view inclusivity in cinema and television in the long-term.

  7. absolutely insane that Disney continues to set their stars up for failure, perhaps on purpose to drive engagement

  8. Halle Bailey was the only good part of the live action Little Mermaid, her voice is a treasure

Aww I love this. Rachel Zegler is so wonderful, and this makes me want to actually check out her Snow White movie despite Gadot’s involvement

Halle singing part of your world still gives me chills. That was Ariel. Don’t @ me.

Queens. Seems the most talented women are usually the ones not afraid to support other women in the industry.

Love to hear this support! I appreciate normalizing that *everyone* gets insecure at times.
