“We will always choose each other."
Mission control has reacquired signal with the Artemis II crew after the mission’s planned loss of signal. Our astronauts are once again using the Deep Space Network to keep conversation and science data flowing between space and Earth.

All of this is pretty badass.
look i’m already emotional from new diagnosis/health probs and these people have me crying all over the place
Most of us weren’t here for the moon landing. This moon circulation is still pretty amazing.
During that gap the crew were bodysnatched and replaced by alien clones. Don’t let them back into atmo. I’ve seen these movies. This is how we end up with Donald Sutherland pointing and screaming.
Y’know, life has been scary lately but it’s stuff like this that reminds me that there’s still a bit of hope to have left in humanity 🥹
I’ve cried like 12 times already since Artemis II launched, and this got me again 😭
There’s just so much happening here that this has no affect on me.
Edit:
The guy connected to this is a pedophile, and Elon Musk hates my minority group so I just don’t feel any pride in this. Nazis have always been good at making rockets.
I haven’t been this emotional about space travel since I watched Slimey go to the moon on Sesame Street when I was a kid.
These wonderful examples of humanity have made me tear up a lot today 🩷
AMAZE!!!!
Earthlings are the best
How many times is this mission going to make me cry. My soul is touched I tell you.
Lol

This Artemis II launch is one of the best parts of life right now.
Happy for them.

Colonizing the moon just doesn’t sit right with my soul.
😭😭😭 CHRISTINA WE LOVE YOU 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
This message juxtaposed against what is coming out of the White House and Iran War feels like a watershed moment for the US.
I hope it’s a good one…
So fucking cool 😭😭😭
This whole mission has been so wonderful and full of calm, professional, and insightful people who value science and progress and it makes you truly wish for a better world. Maybe it’s possible. I’ll miss listening in on the live stream daily while at work. The sheer amount of intelligence on display is inspirational.
I am very out of the loop, I know that Artemis is a spaceship that is going to circle around the moon but why is every comment im reading on this a variation of “my god ive been crying on and off all week about this” or “they just keep giving me a reason to cry!”. Im so lost, I get its cool they are doing stuff with the moon for the first time in decades but why is it so emotional for random people?
I’m not being smart but what does she mean we will always choose each other? Like in the context of what she was saying?
I understand the words she said I just feel like I’m missing context for why she said it
