Katie Price claims she is “f**king furious” after receiving her seventh driving ban. The former glamour model also slammed her staff who failed to make sure legal letters were delivered to her address.
Last week, it was revealed that the 47-year-old had been banned from the roads for the seventh time after a car, registered in her name, was seen driving at 80mph in North Yorkshire. The Mirror reports she was also handed a £1,000 fine.
In the latest episode of her podcast, the Katie Price Show, she broke her silence on the issue claiming that someone she hired did a shoddy job on admin. She told sister Sophie Price: “[The] new driving ban I’m actually f**king furious about.
“Because I’m so up to date with everything. Now the lady that was working with me [is] supposed to do my post and all of that, which she has been – even I have to nag a bit sometimes.
“From the moment I moved in here [to her new home], I said, ‘Can you change my driving license and Harvey’s mobility car to this address.’ Because I don’t want situations where letters are going to the old house and I’m not getting them, and then I get a surprise of something.

“She kept saying, ‘Yeah, I’ve done it. I’ve done it.’ Still haven’t received it.
“If you want to know the truth, I found out I was banned by the papers. Everyone around me said, ‘You’re banned.’
“I said, ‘No, I’m not’. I am actually livid about that, because if I’d got the letters, I would have replied to it.
“So basically, I’ve paid someone to do a job, they haven’t done it and the consequences [of] me relying on someone again, I’m now banned from driving for six months. I am going to go back and see if I can appeal it.
“Or I just think, it’s only six months. Where I live now, I can walk to the shop, the kids’ schools are 10 minutes up the road.

“They can get a school bus from up the road, or I can get them a taxi to school and back. I get shopping delivered here anyway, because I’m always at home, and I work at home.
“So it’s not like in the past, where I’ve been stuck right in the middle of nowhere. I’ve got a train station up the road. So, to be honest, it’s not that bad.”
Despite being unable to get behind the wheel for the next few months, Price insisted that she was feeling positive about remaining home, raving about training in her new home gym, learning to cook more meals and spending time in her garden.
She repeated that she is “not bothered” over the disqualification, before questioning who would insure her “after being banned seven times”.
“Yes, I love my sports cars, but just getting from A to B … If I have to have a Fiat 500 – which I think are bloody cute – then I will,” she said. “I don’t care.
“I’m not ashamed of anything. They’re cool little cars. Whatever, six months will go quick.”
Price was first disqualified from driving in 2010. Her latest penalty was dealt with in the Single Justice Procedure earlier this month.
A Ford Capri was caught on a speed camera on the afternoon of October 15. According to court documents, the mum-of-five was charged with speeding and failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle.
Days later, she was sent a police letter about the incident, and received a further reminder on November 10, but the police force confirmed they received no response to either letter. Presiding over the case, Magistrate Claire Sagar found Price guilty of the failure to respond to police charge, ordering her to pay a £660 fine, £120 in costs, and a £264 victim surcharge.
