    Season 1, Episode 3: “Guinevere”

    The Context:
In this scene, Morgan Pendragon (played by the iconic Eva Green) is testing her power as a ruler. A mother and father come to her with a custody dispute. The mother has raised the boy alone for seven years, while the father—who abandoned them—now wants the boy for free labor on his farm.
Morgan sets a “trap” by offering to buy the boy as a servant. The mother is horrified, but the father immediately begins haggling for a better price in livestock. By bartering his own son, he proves he doesn’t love the boy, leading to Morgan’s cold and legendary verdict: “You bartered your son for nothing. You’re not worthy to be called a father. Get out.”

    1. Just like King Solomon who was going to cut a child in half and then the real mother screamed no don't cut my baby you can keep the baby you can keep my baby just please don't hurt my baby and then that's when the king knew that it was her baby not the other lady.

    2. Reminds me of the story from the Bible about King Solomon. Very similar. 👏 Sometimes the mother is best for the child. Sometimes the father. But both is best. At this time he’s too young to go with his father. But one day he needs to go so he can learn what it took, especially during that time to take care of himself and provide. Life was much different back then. I know some mothers don’t agree or understand, but his father was tough because men had to be back then and he needed to pass that strength/hardness down to him. 😔
