Ambitious. Gorgeously shot. Inventively told. What could have been ‘just another’ horror flick was delivered in an unexpected way. Mr. Coogler’s best work so far. Can’t wait to see what he does next.
Personally – my favourite movie of 2025. I was absolutely mesmerized by it.
And as a movie, it was pretty good!
probably one of my favorite horror movies of all time. everything about is was just… ugh! i don’t even have words. weapons was really good as well but sinners just blew it out of the water for me.
I can’t believe it’s only been a year I love this movie
I went into this movie with very little idea of what it was about, and it just kept blowing my mind with every new theme and genre it tapped into. What do you mean it’s a period drama/action/horror movie and also a musical with multiple song-and-dance sequences?!
Upon finishing the movie, my overwhelming thought was that this was a very rare movie that did everything it set out to do (and it set out to do a lot). I went back to see the movie multiple times in the theater, and it’s become one of my all-time favorites. Ryan Coogler and his collaborators created a stunning work of art.
I wish I could go see it again. The chokehold this movie has on me. As a kid who is technically a 2nd gen transplant with southern roots it made me so emotional 🥹

This movie absolutely blew my mind the first time I ever saw it. Never seen anything like it. That scene with all the dancers and the juke joint burning down legitimately gave me chills when I saw it in theaters
