If you live in Atlanta, then you’ve run into a celebrity out and about. Whether it’s Ludacris outside of jury duty (yes, that happened) or Scarlett Johansson at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta (yes, that also happened), the city is alway full of celebs!
Part of that is due to our amazing film industry (they don’t call us the Hollywood of the South for nothing!), and now, you can listen to some really amazing artists speak at the Atlanta Film Festival this week! Keep scrolling for all the details.
Wait, what’s the Atlanta Film Festival?

The Atlanta Film Festival is a massive film festival that takes over the city for a week and a half every year. Showing indie films, the Atlanta Film Festival is one of only two-dozen Academy Award® qualifying festivals in the nation, AND it’s one of the largest and longest-running festivals in the U.S., too.

Josh Brolin will be at the Plaza Theatre for Weapons on May 1st, 2026 at 2pm
McKenna Grace will be at the Tara Theatre for Gifted on April 25th, 2026 at 5pm
T.I. will be at the Plaza Theatre for the opening night debut of The Birth of Trap Music on April 23rd, 2026 at 10:30pm
Danielle Brooks will be at the Tara Theatre for If I Go Will They Miss Me on April 29th, 2026 at 6:30pm
David Cross will be at the Tara Theatre for ‘A Conversation with David Cross’ on May 1, 2026, at 5:00pm
Jacob Gentry will be at the Plaza Theatre for The Signal on April 26, 2026 at 8:45pm.
