Zara Larsson got booked to perform at the University of Delaware. She performed multiple songs including Midnight Sun and Lush Life. Students posting videos on TikTok said that it was so crowded that many couldnât get in.
Tickets were sold on April of this year and immediately sold out!

I donât really get it. Colleges get pretty big artists for their spring flings or whatever all the time. We had maroon 5 back in the day and they werenât small and my school is not a big deal.
This reminds me of when I saw Billie Eilish at Coachella in Berlin in 2019, just after Bad Guy had gone viral. She hadn’t even been promoted as one of the headliners and my ticket for the entire 2-day festival cost me less than $90
Of course the honored the booking. And this venue appears to be far larger than any of the theaters and concert halls she played for her own US tour.
Its kinda absurd to me that people pretend Zara Larsson was an utter no name after countless successful songs.

Weirdly enough I had this happen with Ed Sheeran. He was booked to play a tiny little town festival called redfest in Redhill, England and a couple of weeks before the festival he went massive with A-team.
Effectively UK top 10 artist played 3rd on the bill on a tiny stage to a crows of about 500 people. Was amazing.
Edit: festival was 23rd July 2011. A-Team was number 3 at the time. He had been booked around 6 months before releasing the song.
Zara has a whole slew of hits from 2015-2018. Her music was popular during that period.
She is not a new artist.
Whatâs happening is that sheâs having a career resurgence.
Before her popularity skyrocketed? In the US yes…
