Star Wars Day is just over a week away, and will give fans of the sci-fi franchise all over the world different ways to celebrate. However, if you’re planning on spending the day binge-watching the most popular Star Wars movies or TV shows, you could also spend some time recreating one of the most iconic figures from the original movies.

The Millennium Falcon is almost as iconic to the Star Wars franchise as Jedi and lightsabers are. The enormous spaceship is most well-known for being flown by Han Solo when the movies first launched all the way back in 1977.

Fortunately, not only can you currently recreate your own personal Millennium Falcon ship, but you could save as much as £160 in the process. Currently, Argos is offering the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon Collector Series set at a discount, dropping the price down from £735 to £575.

Better yet, you could also get your hands on an extra mini-build as part of an offer from Argos, with the LEGO Star Wars The Razor Crest Mini-Build being offered as a ‘free gift’. This incredibly large LEGO set comes with 7,541 pieces and features plenty of extra details accurate to the movies, including removable hull panels to reveal a detailed interior and cockpit.

It also includes interchangeable sensor dishes to represent different eras of the Star Wars saga. The set also includes seven minifigures and a BB-8 droid, allowing fans to display the ship with either the classic crew of Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, and C-3PO or the sequel trilogy crew Older Han Solo, Rey, and Finn. Standing over 84cm long, it is designed as a definitive centrepiece for collectors and serious Star Wars fans.

If you would rather something a little different for Star Wars Day, you could instead opt for this CERDA LIFE’S LITTLE MOMENTS The Mandalorian art set, which is available on Amazon for £14.99. This art tool set comes with watercolours, felt tip pens, and crayons and is placed in an easily movable box to keep everything secure.

Or, if you consider yourself a serious collector, you could instead opt for this Star Wars The Vintage Collection Imperial Snowtrooper figure. This comes with a Stormtrooper sporting the classic Hoth Battle Gear outfit in the form of a 3.75-inch action figure, as well as a compatible small toy weapon to go with it.

Those who previously bought the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon set praised it for its detail, with one customer writing: “I brought the ucs falcon when It was on sale and it was one of the best things I have spent my money on. However, not all customers were fully satisfied: “Excellent Lego kit but be prepared for every emotion building it.” While another added: “Wanted to build this one for a while. For the size and price I expected a more thought-out construction process, but the sections of the build can be annoyingly flimsy and weak.

“Multiple times during the build, parts that were attached earlier would pop off when adding another component. Moving it after completion if not and easy task either.”
