Kylie Jenner has arrived at the 2026 Met Gala. The Khy founder did not make her red-carpet debut with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet for fashion’s biggest night, but, man, does she look good on the iconic steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The annual gala offers the most fun, creative, glamorous tribute to fashion of the year, and Jenner always knows how to go all out with her style. This evening, she paid tribute to the “Fashion Is Art” dress code and “Costume Art” theme focusing on dressing the human body in a sculptural look from Schiaparelli. The custom gown featured a nude corset bodice that looked like it was molded to her body, featuring nipples and a belly button.

The billowing skirt, meanwhile, was crafted from a silky ivory fabric and embellished all over with white pearls. At the waist, it looked like it was pulled down from over her corset top and folded over and down to reveal her naked body. Pure art.
Jenner has attended the Met Gala nearly every year since 2016; the only year she skipped the event was in 2021, when it was held in September due to the COVID-19 pandemic (the gala was also canceled in 2020 because of the crisis). Coincidentally, the 2021 gala is the only one Chalamet has ever attended.
Throughout their more than three years together, Jenner and Chalamet have made several major awards-show and red-carpet appearances. The first time they walked the red carpet hand in hand was at a photocall in Rome during the 70th David Di Donatello at Cinecittà Studios, in May 2025. Since then, they’re coordinated on the carpet for two other big moments: Marty Supreme’s Los Angeles premiere and the 2026 Oscars after-party hosted by Vanity Fair.
Because the couple was seen out and about last night, ahead of the Met ball, fans assumed they would be walking the carpet at the event together. But it seems we’ll have to wait at least another year for their big moment on the museum’s starry steps.
