Kim Kardashian has made her 8-year-old son, Saint West, sign a contract before allowing him to start his own YouTube channel. The reality star, 43, shared the news with her Instagram followers on Tuesday, revealing the details of the agreement. “I finally allowed Saint to have a YouTube Channel after signing an extensive contract! lol,” she wrote alongside a screenshot of his profile, as reported by People. Kardashian also posted a glimpse of the handwritten contract, writing, “Saint signed a solid contract for this YouTube Channel. He better not breach 😉.”
The contract outlines several rules that Saint must follow, including not sharing personal family information or filming while his sister, North West, is recording music. Additionally, Saint must show all videos to his mother or a guardian before posting them. Kardashian noted that she reserves the right to make his page private or delete his account if the rules are not followed.
On Wednesday, Kardashian clarified on X that the contract is legally binding, stating, “JOKE CONTRACT? Oh this wasn’t a joke… We will go to arbitration if needed,” referring to People’s coverage.
Fans praised Kardashian’s approach, with one social media user calling it “good parenting” for ensuring her son abides by the rules on the platform.
