I do not remember this in the directors cut.
Kingdom of Heaven (2005) by Ridley Scott
This video is from the "Director's Cut".
I have seen the "Theatrical Release" numerous times and this scene not be in there.
Leprosy is a bitch
Ya I got totally confused by this. KOH is one of my favs but never saw the directors cut I guess. She went from sister to mother. Have to find a directors cut to watch.
The boy was her son, who also contracted the disease her brother had.
Jeremy Irons has this subtle way of showing empathy. I loved him so much in Beautiful Creatures.
Sibylla has that Cersei vibe!
That priest was such a jerk!
His finger?
His toe
Eva Green is something else.🔥
Shame this parts wasn't in the movie. This would have added more depth to Sybilla.
This priest was hilarious.
was this her son or a flashback about her brother?
I've just watched the directors cut after all these years. I cannot believe that 45 minutes of the film were cut for the theatrical release. They should've kept every minute, it elevates the film and the acting.
What disease does the boy have and wjy
no description ¿?¿?¿?¿?¿
The physicians face says it all. "I'm sorry."
her son?????
He got leprosy for those wondering
Such a shame. The bacterial infection that is Leprosy cuts the nerves from the body, most notably the pain receptors. At first it is a boon as the patient can feel pain but they will continue to weaken until their eventually early death or an accident/illness takes them.
father damien found out the same way
he was a monk who was looking after a leper colony.
after 11 years hot water fell on his arm burning it but he felt no pain
I was gonna say, I’d never seen this n I’ve seen the movie a few times
The directors cut of Kingdom of Heaven is just a different, much better movie.
They should have made Eva green the villain instead of guy, the guy was such a joke
These curses are ancient and weakening.
