Lauren Sanchez Bezos is up in the air. The 55-year-old gives her followers a look at her piloting skills with a new selfie. Rocking a pair of aviation sunglasses, Lauren writes, “Collective up.” The former journalist is a well-known aviation enthusiast. Obtaining her pilot’s license back in 2016, she later told the Hollywood Reporter, “I want to be in a helicopter all the time. Life can be so chaotic with so much going on. Liftoff and you’re in an energy space that no one else is in. It’s calming. Of course, Lauren knows a thing or two about decompressing from life’s busy moments. In addition to her lavish Italian wedding to Jeff Bezos back in June, she also recently dropped off her 18-year-old son Evan at college, documenting the bittersweet milestone on Instagram, alongside a shot of her son riding 18 years of early mornings, late night snacks, and family dinners.
