‘The Bachelorette’ has had its share of thorny seasons, but usually at least one limo needs to have pulled up to the mansion for the drama to begin. But season 22 turned into its own brand of spectacle before audiences got to watch ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ divorcée Taylor Frankie Paul hand out a single rose. And now, the journey is over before it began. The new season, set to premiere March 22, has been canceled, ABC pulling the plug March 19 after video footage of a 2023 physical altercation between Paul and her then-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen was published by TMZ. “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today,” Disney Entertainment Television said in a statement to E! News, “we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.” In a statement to E!, a spokesperson for Paul called the video part of “a destructive campaign to harm Taylor,” saying it “conveniently omits context.” Regarding the cancellation, “Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security,” a spokesperson for Paul told E!. Luckily for him he had video proof because let's be honest 100% of the time everyone would have believed every word she was saying about him about pretending like she was the one being abused and how she was afraid of retaliation if she said anything are stuck up for herself. But anyone watching that video can fully she? She is not afraid of that man whatsoever. She is afraid of being abused but the only one I have seen be physical towards another is her to the point of hitting her own c******* with a metal stool. Hopefully more men realize they need to record when they get into our gibbings with their partner for their own safety because 100% of the time they will not be to believe that they are the one that is being physically abused
Her story is very compelling. I'm actually really disappointed we won't see this season. I'm not even usually a fan of the show.

In the video after she throws a metal chair that hits her innocent child, she yell “You did this” to Dakota. Hearing her child cry in pain and fear her first response was to blame the victim of her anger and not care for her hurt child. That is very narcissistic and dangerous. If this is how she behaves drunk then she has a drinking problem and needs help. She should not blame him for abusive and toxic behaviour. The fact that she still had a baby with this man shows her true brokenness. She’s canceled for good reason.

Why is a single mom on the bachelorette show? The number one cardinal rule for a single heterosexual male with no children is to avoid dating single moms. There will always be unnecessary drama in these types of relationships.
Part of me thinks if she wasn’t actually picking someone on the show to marry, could this have been someone’s plan all along to try and get the show canceled?
People get their kids taken for less.
She should not have a platform-and should be banned from any shows/ loose custody.
