Royal “experts” argue about whether Harry and Meghan’s Australia visit counts as a “royal tour”

It is not a royal tour in that 1) they’re not working royals 2) it is not funded by the monarchy.

It is a tour by two formerly working royals / individuals with titles that is self or privately funded for their causes and initiatives (Eg. invictus games launch for later this year in perth).
