Some background on his relationship with his father at 30 seconds: https://youtu.be/hmcBQDsmvCw

Can someone please explain to me how this man just keeps getting consistently better looking with age? It’s insanity.

Reminds me of that interview in the Dewey Cox movie where they interviewer did zero research

This is how attempting to force viral moments from red carpet interviews can backfire on the interviewers.

  5. The way I’ve crushed on this man throughout his career. From The Mighty Ducks to Dawson’s Creek to Fringe to now. Like a fine wine.

When I was at school, a lad took an extended leave of absence, came back for summer term/exams. Day 2, some lad makes a very typical “ya mum” joke of the era.

First lad lays him spark out, two punches.

The absence was because his mother had died suddenly. This wasn’t public knowledge (early days of social media, plus boarding school means most weren’t local).

Not quite the same thing, but I always think of it in moments like that

My God, he was so hot in the 90’s and now he’s even hotter. Like damn.

goodbye I thought this was common knowledge but maybe it’s just bc he’s one of my Canadian crushes along with Cory Monteith and I watched his Strombo interview when he talks about his absent father right after I finished watching Cory’s where he talked about the same thing 🥴

Why would you just assume everyone has a good relationship with either parent omg don’t ask parent questions on the red carpet!!

  9. He’s just as amazing in person. I had the pleasure of getting to be around him many times over the years. He truly is a class act and very intelligent. He talks to you while making great eye contact and he really listens. It melts you on the inside, yo.

  10. Yikes. I always say that the one thing my mother taught me was how not to be a mother!

Joshua Jackson’s real life background makes his role in Fringe even more heartbreaking. What a great actor

    What a class act.

And god bless his attitude – as they say tragedy plus time equals comedy – and he embodies that in the best way.

I appreciate the dark humor of the absent father. I’d tell a dad joke, but he never taught me
