They’ve been together a while and do a lot of work together these days, I really didn’t see this coming at all.

The Queens Christen Press and Tobin Heath are still holding it down in the iconic women’s sports couples who’ve been together a long time category at least.

I’ve listened to their podcast a bit and every now and then there’d be a comment that would make me side eye them a bit. Some of those bickers of the week sounded a little unhealthy. Surprised but not surprised by this

WHAT?! My fav sport lesbian couple?! This is soooo shocking. They are always together and seemed perfect, but guess you never know 🙁

TIL one of the best NWBA and NWSL players of all-time were in a relationship.

  5. Lesbians across the world torn between being upset at the break up and “so you’re saying I have a chance”

I watched Sue Bird throughout her college career at UCONN, cheered for her ever since.

Feeling like an old grandma watching one of her kids go through heartbreak. 😔

“Honey, wake up,” the gays have discovered “conscious uncoupling.” 💙

    Edit: spelling

GDI. They went to my Lagree studio occasionally. They are both GLORIOUS looking in real life. I’m bummed.

I was wondering why they were doing their podcast from different locations. I wish them all the best

I always feel bad for lesbian celebrity couples who break up because the parasocial identification from other queer people riding on your image for their own sense of hope must make things so much harder.

Hot take but this seems normal and healthy? Love doesn’t need to be forever to be worthwhile, and sticking with something that isn’t working can do more harm than good. Love isn’t dead, it’s ever changing.

Remember — the reason lesbian divorce rates are higher is because the people in these relationships don’t have coercive heteronormative scripts to make them stay in situations that aren’t constructive anymore. A 10-year partnership like theirs is still a success story.

  13. (bravely) I support lesbians’ right to not tie themselves to life-long monogamy with one person if their relationship is no longer serving them.
