Everyone has been asking why it’s been taking so long to arrest D4VD in the gruesome murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez… turns out they had 40 TERABYTES of evidence against him. If you want something to help you understand the sheer scale of that, my phone can hold up to 256 GB. A terabyte is 1,000 GB. That is approximately 156 PHONES WORTH of evidence. This case is so much bigger than anyone realized, it’s so heartbreaking.

  1. The cops were very open about this from the start, they said they weren’t moving forward until they knew they would put him away for life.

Holy shit, FORTY TERABYTES of evidence is an UNGODLY amount of data for a single person to produce in any given scenario, let alone a criminal one. My god.

Good, this guy doesn’t deserve to see daylight again. And I’ve always got the impression too that he thinks he’s the victim here. Same with his weird parents who knew of his underage girlfriend (there’s a video of them going backstage together) and are still sticking by him.

I think it’s something people don’t really understand. In Law & Order, it looks like it all happens so fast but investigations are SLOW and it takes months to years.

Bruh. I don’t think the entire footprint of everything I have ever done on a computer or phone in my 30 or 40 years is 40TB. What the shitting fuck

  7. This is why he wants a speedy trial. Usually when a defendant is guilty they want the trial to begin as soon as possible because it gives the prosecution less time to prepare and ultimately miss evidence. I just can’t see this guy getting out of this mess without being thrown in jail for some time.

Good. I know it was unsettling watching him be free for what felt like forever but you don’t want them messing up and allowing him to get away with what he did. Lock him up for life and throw away the key.

  9. Ohh no they have mountains to work through. With the amount of evidence they already have regarding his personal relationship with Celeste, it looks really bad for him

Back in the day, I had a case where a medium sized internet company was my client. We had their entire data dump – corporate emails, founders’ computers digitally copied, EVERY webpage they’d ever designed, etc.

It was only 3 terabytes of data.

Who’s this fuckin guy reacting and making funny faces? Does everything need some kinda Tony Stark smirk?

Wow. I have a external hard drive that’s 2TB that I’ve used to store ten years worth of pictures and videos (as well as some other documents) and I haven’t even used the full 2TB

This is the kind of situation that even a Law and Order episode couldn’t stretch out to an hour.

    Opening credits.

    40 TERABYTES.

    DOON DOON.

    End Credits.

forty terrabytes sounds like an exageration. or did he film 100rds of hours of home made porn on 4K Dolby Atmos IMAX ?

All of that can’t be sorted through in a meaningful amount of time, and prosecution already knows where the juice is 0.o
