Katherine Short—Martin Short’s 42-year-old daughter with late wife Nancy Dolman—died on Feb. 24, the ‘Only Murders in the Building’ star’s rep confirmed to E! News. “It is with profound grief that we confirm the passing of Katherine Hartley Short,” Martin’s rep said in a Feb. 24 statement to E! News. “The Short family is devastated by this loss and asks for privacy at this time. Katherine was beloved by all and will be remembered for the light and joy she brought into the world.” Katherine died by apparent suicide, law enforcement sources told TMZ, with the Los Angeles Police Department responding to her Hollywood Hills home on Feb. 24.
