At 3:20: the neighbor, who started the incident, cries and acts like ent victim

Around 6:00: the neighbor claims he only pushed Alan once after Alan started punching him. The neighbor says 2 cameras will corroborate this. Alan's video later proved this was a lie

7:45: Police show up to Alan's house

8:20: Alan tries calling his attorney but he does not pick up.

8:50: Officer tells Alan the video they saw showed him beating up the neighbor. Alan informs the cops he had his phone on his chest recording and then shows them the full incident, including what led to the fight.

Cops then ask to photograph his injuries and tell him no arrests will be made today because they weren't present during the fight and both parties are separated. They'll hand all of the evidence and report over to detectives.

Just skipping to around to about 9:10 really highlights just horrendous communication from that officer. He’s being directly addressed about events prior to what he is describing in the video and he has options:

“The events you’re describing happens prior to the start of the video recording.” -> Ask the neighbor what prompted the recording

“I did not scrub to any other portions of the video.” -> Go back and see if what’s describing was recorded prior to what he already saw.

Him repeating that all he saw was Alan’s shove is so ambiguous and does not move anything along. Very frustrating to watch.

if we lived in streets and houses, and needing a lawyer on speed-dial, and with cops like these, we’d all have angry, short fuses constantly too.

neighbor probably saw/sees a meal ticket in Alan. Even w/o a criminal charge, the neighbor is prolly shopping for a PI attorney

  4. Heh, the neighbor talking himself up with the cops, “And uh, I was gonna fight back, but…”
Cut to Ritchson’s footage, “Okay! I’ll stay down!”

You know, i always thought how unrealistic it was that some stranger would pick a fight with Reacher in his shows. Never mind, it’s real, im sorry for doubting lol.

  6. I knew Alan Ritchson was a big guy but if anyone has watched The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (corrected I said the wrong one before 😊)you can see he’s HUGE. He dwarfs a very jacked Henry Cavill. No way I’d pick a fight with him under any circumstances

  7. Well if it wasnt clear before its crystal clear now that dude was trying to set Alan up, you can see him fake tearing up and then one of the cops asks him a question and the fake crying is immediately gone. Also he claims he doesnt onow who Alan is, unless Alan moved in the week before if he lives in your neighborhood everyone is gonna know who he is lol glad Alan was wearing a camera of his own cause it did look bad without the full interaction being seen, I would have believed it if I were the cops, I mean who in their right mind is gonna pick a fight with Alan Ritchson lol

so, the neighbor wasn’t concerned enough to film when the guy pushed Ritchson off of his bike—in front of his two kids. only once Ritchson got active was there a concern? yeesh.

One of the toughest things about this is how Alan Ritchson has talked about how hard he works to keep his mental health in check. Like it’s just kind of cruel to swing on him like this, IMO

Oh wow, he did want to press charges until the vids came out.. what a scum bag (neighbor)

  11. honestly, i feel bad for the guy’s kids. imagine watching your dad get his ass beat by Reacher after picking a fight… there’s no coming back from that

  12. And nobody wants to really mention how Alan had his kids driving with him.. clearly seems like a good dad, and the speedometer shows he wasn’t speeding, let alone having his two young children tagging along behind him LOL SMH. Highly doubt he is tearing through the neighborhood with his two young kids on their two tiny bikes in tail. Do the kids’ bikes even go over 25 mph, lol?

Is he done with the show or has he always had those tattoos? Do they cover them somehow?

  14. So, the guy and the neighbor planned this and tried to set him up? That is certainly how it appears.  Alan needs to go after them.

Thank goodness he was wearing a camera!

Alan was incredibly gracious overall. He could’ve severely injured himself flying over the handlebars. His kids could’ve been injured. All cause the neighbor had an ego.

The neighbor is clearly a drunken asshole. And the best part is him screaming about you assaulting these all on camera yeah buddy what’s on cameras you being a dick

I’ve watched Alan since Catching Fire and thought he was a big, intimidating guy then. Why would you ever pick a fight with him, especially now?! He’s 10x bigger than before

  18. That officer almost fucked up really badly. He wasn’t even listening to Alan for a bit and tried to talk over him despite giving him room to converse.

  19. so fortunate he was smart enough to have his video camera rolling. How did he know to do that? How do we do similar with our phones, assuming it’s a phone and not a gopro?
