Hope she’s okay now and it wasn’t anything too serious.
She had the flu. Not dismissing this, just saving you the paywall troubles.
They always rush to the hospital, never saunter.

What does it say about us as a society, when someone feels pressured to work when they are so sick they need immediate medical care afterwards.
They said she looked horribly sick. Nobody should have let her continue to work.
This is fucked up. And sad. We should not be rewarding this. And we should not be framing this as heroism.
