  1. Is this supposed to be like funnel cake? if so then it was because you had to much liquid. You can add some powdered sugar to it to give it that "dry thickness" or just add some flour/corn starch. I use to make something similar to this at my old resturant.

  2. With that consistency and texture i am absolutely positive that there's a missed ingredient there. Something as binder or a process to remove most of it's moisture. I would guess corn starch or flour.

  3. deep frying tip – get your wooden chopsticks out. you put them tip down to the bottom, and if bubbles come outta teh wood, its ready. you can also pinch a tiny bit of what you are frying and toss it in to see if it starts going but the chop sticks will never lie to you and you wont waste food.

  4. Your yogurt has to be pressed and dried. The water content needs to be as low as possible for this to work. Otherwise, it won't fry. It'll just bubble and fall apart like it did for you.
