Kendrick seems like such a nice, genuine person. I bet this was a very special moment for the both of them.

You never forget those teachers that have a positive impact on your life. I’ve been out of school for many, many years, yet I still remember my middle school teacher Mrs. Linda Brandeweide. She was the first person that encouraged me to be myself. She told me I was smart and bought me books (poor kid from the Midwest) and she took me to the library and got me my first library card. I loved that woman!
