Blake Lively is facing a major setback in her legal battle against her ‘It Ends With Us’ costar and director Justin Baldoni. On April 2, a New York judge dismissed 10 of the actress’ 13 claims, including her allegations of sexual harassment. The ruling comes more than a year after Blake first filed her lawsuit, and months after Justin’s counter‑suit was dismissed. According to the court order obtained by E! News, the judge determined Blake’s sexual harassment claims lacked a substantial connection to California law and did not meet federal employment standards because she was classified as an independent contractor, not an employee. However, the judge allowed several claims to move forward, including retaliation, breach of contract and aiding and abetting retaliation. The court acknowledged there is “some direct evidence” suggesting an alleged smear campaign against Blake, writing that a jury should decide whether the backlash she faced was organic, or the result of deliberate actions. Blake’s attorney confirmed she will proceed to trial, emphasizing the case remains focused on retaliation and reputational harm. The trial is currently scheduled to begin May 18, per the BBC. The headline is click bait. The fact she was independent and under different jurisdiction doesn't mean those things didn't happen. I will never trust news. Using Blake and maligning her through this manipulation for the likes of that scum. He absolutely hired a PR team to globally harass her to the most diabolical extreme. I've seen it myself.

Seems completely unprofessional – contacting actors and berating the director of the film. She acted as though she had more talent and skill. She was out of her swim lane. It always seemed like she was scorned and rejected by him not the other way around. We will probably never know what really happened.
